God laid this ministry on my heart to help everyone with an affordable shopping experience, and the proceeds will help the community of Buckholts. He continued to convict me about the name AMAZING GRACE Thrift Shop. My mother and I were shopping at Goodwill one day and I was complaining about how expensive thrift shops have become. Sitting on a shelf was a cross with the words “AMAZING GRACE” written on it and I KNEW then that this was what God wanted me to do. I bought the cross and it hangs on the wall behind our counter. We have AMAZING prices because of God's GRACE....Most of our clothes are only $1 each and shoes are $3 each. We have hundreds of books all priced at .25 cents. DVD's $1 each, VCR tapes and CD's .25 cents each. We have a lot of different items in the store including but not limited to home decor, lamps, dishes, pots and pans, toys, baby items, furniture, sheets, bedding, etc. Everything is very reasonably priced (cheap).
We are always putting out new items, so if we don't have something for you the first time you come be sure and check back.
 We have been able to help the Buckholts Fire Dept, the Buckholts Drill Team, the Buckholts Booster Clubs, The Buckholts Cotton Fest, The BBA, The Buckholts Outreach Organization, we sponsored a Girls Basketball team that competed in Temple, and all the High School classes, The AG department, the Football and Baseball teams, also other area organizations. We provided new backpacks and all the school supplies for kids that signed up. We sponsored a Santa workshop that allowed all the kids in the Buckholts School to pick a present to give their loved ones for Christmas. We also gave each Senior a monetary gift for graduation. I joined up with The Back To School Extravaganza in 2016 to give area school kids a $100 shopping spree at Wal-Mart in Temple. We broke our record in 2018 with $15,000 in donations allowing us to let 150 kids purchase school clothes, shoes, supplies in the amount of $100 each. It was such a blessing to be part of such an awesome event. We can not do it without all the donations, the prayers, the volunteers, and the shoppers!!!
